JEXPO (Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE).
It is held for admission to various diploma courses in engineering, technology, and architecture at polytechnic institutes across West Bengal.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) or an equivalent examination with a minimum percentage of marks in mathematics and physical science. There is usually an age limit as well.
Exam Pattern: The exam typically consists of two papers:
Paper 1: Mathematics (100 marks)
Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry (100 marks)
Mode of Exam: JEXPO is usually conducted offline (pen-and-paper) and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
